Emploi - PostDoc : Digital and media literacy in teamwork and distance work environments (LITME@WORK)

The Research Centre for Communication and Media (PReCoM) at Université Saint-Louis – Bruxelles (USL-B)

is recruiting a part-time post-doc researcher (75%) in media and communication studies to work on a research project titled Digital and media literacy in teamwork and distance work environments (LITME@WORK).

LITME@WORK is funded by the Belgian Science Policy (BELSPO) from March 2015 to February 2019. It is a collaborative and interdisciplinary research project involving Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KULeuven), Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL), Université de Namur (UNamur, main coordinator) and Université Saint-Louis – Bruxelles (USL-B).
The aim of LITME@WORK is to investigate the digital and media literacy (DML) called for by today’s evolving, technology-supported environments of work. LITME@WORK asks the following research questions: (1) how is DML addressed and practiced in today’s office work, and (2) how can DML be further integrated in emerging team/distance work structures and practices in order to support efficient, stimulating and meaningful ways of working. USL-B is in charge of Work Package 2 (WP2) focusing on the social and organizational discourses around digital and media competences at work.
